I started skating 13 years ago in La Jolla, CA. I always knew I wanted to be a figure skater. I competed in several ISI and USFS competitions throughout the years as a singles skater, with a great culmination of receiving the silver medal at the 2004 Artistic Nationals in Texas. I also competed on an ISI Synchronized Skating team where we won the gold medal at the 2000 World Championships in Minnesota. I then went on to join the USFS Senior level Team del Sol my senior year of college. At the time, they were the highest ranked synchronized skating team on the West Coast. After receiving my bachelors degrees in Theatre Arts and French from the University of San Diego, I began coaching primarily out of La Jolla, where I developed a new ISI Synchronized Skating Team, Splash, in April, 2005. We went on to win the silver medal at the 2005 ISI World Championships. Then followed a string of gold medals with the finalization of the gold medal at the 2006 World Championships in Boston. I still train and compete myself. I, too, won a gold medal at the 2006 Worlds. I now coach at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, CA under head coach, Frank Carroll (most known for coaching several elite skaters such as Michelle Kwan, Evan Lysacek, and Linda Fratianne just to name a few). I am thrilled to be heading up this exciting team, the Escondido Seaside Skaters!
